The many parents, students, friends, and staff that gave so freely of their personal time and resources to “over-haul” the cafeteria during the winter break just cannot be thanked enough. THE CAFETERIA NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD.

St. Brigid’s to Advertise on 19th Street, Watervliet, Billboard
Look for our ad beginning March 8th. Thanks to two very generous parents, a large portion of the cost was donated.

We have a Hired an Art and Music Teachers
Both are experienced and come highly recommended.

Part-time Volunteer Librarian Needed
We are looking for a volunteer to work in our library a few hours per week. Please call 273-3321 for more info.

Beacon of Hope Scholarship Application Now Available
These applications are available in the office. It is a need based scholarship for families who students are in grades K-8.

The Mac Donald Family in an Apartment
As you recall, the MacDonald family had a fire in their apartment just before the holidays that destroyed all of their belongings. Many of our families donated various items, cash, and gifts for Mrs. MacDonald and her three daughters. Now that she is in an apartment, the family can still use some basics items. Please call the office for more information.

Hot Lunch Program Discontinued Because of Low Number of Lunch Orders
Our paid lunch count has been decreasing to a point where we are selling an average of 22 lunches per day. This is not enough to justify Chartwells continuing the lunch program. They have agreed to serve hot lunch through March 12. We will try to provide free and reduced lunch students with bag lunches from the Parish.

Fundraising, PR/Marketing, & Student Recruitment Committee Meetings, Thursday, Feb. 25, 6:30pm
These committees have been working very hard and producing some outstanding results. Please attend this meeting for an update and to assist. The meeting will take place in the cafeteria.

Special “Walk Through The Mass” Presentation, Sunday, February 28, 7:00pm, St. Patrick’s
Special, “Walk Through the Mass” presentation by Fr. Walsh, February 28, 7:00pm Mass, will explain what and why we do what we do. DON’T MISS IT!!!!!
